Day 01: Arrival in Colombo - Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon landing at Colombo International Airport, your private driver-guide will greet you and take you to your hotel in the city. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 02: Colombo - Gangaramaya Temple, National Museum, Pettah Market & Galle Face Green (B)

Begin the day with a visit to Beira Lake, home to Gangaramaya Park and the serene Gangarama Sima Malaka temple. Next, explore Gangaramaya Temple, one of Sri Lanka’s most significant Buddhist sites. Continue to the Colombo National Museum, the country’s oldest, before diving into the bustling Pettah Market, where you’ll spot the striking Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque nearby. End the day at Galle Face Green, Colombo’s largest open park, before returning to the hotel.

Day 03: Colombo - Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - Kandy - Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic & Cultural Show (B)

After breakfast, drive to Kandy, stopping at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe rescued elephants, including their daily river bath from 10 AM to 12 PM. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic, a revered Buddhist site. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance before heading to your hotel.

Day 04: Kandy - Peradeniya Botanical Gardens - Dambulla Cave Temple - Sigiriya (B)

Start the day at Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, known for its vast collection of exotic plants. Continue to Sri Muthumariamman Temple, a striking Hindu temple with its towering, intricately decorated Gopura. Later, travel to Dambulla to explore Dambulla Cave Temple, home to 2,000-year-old murals and Buddha statues. Finally, head to Sigiriya for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Sigiriya Rock Fortress - Polonnaruwa Ancient City - Return to Sigiriya (B)

Today, climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a marvel of ancient engineering. Discover the Mirror Wall and admire the stunning frescoes. Later, visit the UNESCO-listed ancient city of Polonnaruwa, the island’s second capital, and explore its impressive palace complex. Return to Sigiriya for the night.

Day 06: Sigiriya - Anuradhapura Ancient City - Transfer to Negombo (B)

Drive to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first capital, and explore its historic landmarks, including the massive Ruwanwelisaya Stupa. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree, believed to be the oldest recorded tree in the world. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic journey to Negombo.

Day 07: Negombo - Colombo - Departure (B)
